Petitioning means asking registered Ward 2 voters to sign a form that qualifies Richard for the February 2027 ballot. No experience necessary. We'll walk you through exactly what to say and how the process works when you arrive, and you'll be paired with someone who's done it before.

Beyond the mechanics, petitioning is one of the best ways to get a feel for what's really going on in Ward 2 right now. You'll be talking directly with the renters, transit riders, and longtime residents who make up this ward, the same people who deserve an alderman who shows up for them instead of the political machine.

When and where:

  • Saturdays, 8:30 AM–12:30 PM — Children's Fountain, Lincoln Park

  • Mondays, 4:00–7:00 PM — Newberry Library
